Integration is part of the intelligence: it determines what information exists, what actions are possible and who authorises them.

An AI capability acquires value when it can live alongside the applications, the data, the responsibilities and the rhythms of an organisation.

We build applications and services that turn an inference or a representation of knowledge into a usable and maintainable function.

## Understanding the existing landscape

Every organisation has a technological system formed over time: ERP, CRM, document managers, databases, spreadsheets, APIs, services, code, identities, permissions, processes, integrations, calendars and exceptions.

The architecture begins by representing:

- which system records each state;
- which source holds authority;
- which data may be shared;
- which interfaces exist;
- which logic already runs;
- which participants depend on each component;
- which changes are manageable.

This understanding makes it possible to integrate progressively and to choose where to build a new layer.

## Enterprise applications

Django provides a solid basis for applications with data models, administration, identity, permissions, forms, workflows, auditing, internal interfaces and a long operational life.

We build applications where teams can configure, review, authorise, correct, query, observe, handle exceptions and maintain knowledge.

The interface is part of the intelligence system. It presents information and decisions according to each person's role.

## APIs and services

FastAPI makes it possible to build typed services for inference, extraction, retrieval, tools, integration, telemetry, control and access to knowledge.

Pydantic validates inputs and outputs and helps to share contracts between services and agents.

APIs declare identity, version, data, permissions, errors, idempotency, latency and effects. That clarity makes testing, substitution and observability easier.

## ERP and operational integration

An ERP contains states and actions that affect real work.

Integration may include reading, validation, creation, updating, reconciliation, follow-up, authorisation, events and checking.

ERP-Bots connects bots and agents with these functions under policies, state and subsequent verification.

The system preserves who requests, which policy applies, which tool acts, which state changes, what authorisation exists and what result is observed.

The integration respects the ERP's capabilities and adds a coordination layer when the process crosses several systems.

## Identity, permissions and authority

Identity determines what each participant can see and do.

We design authentication, roles, permissions, delegations, secrets, segregation of duties, authorisations and traces.

An agent acts with a defined identity and scope. Business authority is expressed in policies and in the workflow, regardless of the language in which the request arrives.

## Events and asynchronous architecture

Many processes evolve through events: a document arrives, a person approves, an ERP changes, a date falls due, a machine finishes, a source is updated.

NATS and JetStream can distribute and preserve events between services.

A domain event expresses something that happened and contains identifier, type, entity, version, time, producer, data, correlation and permissions or sensitivity.

Asynchronous architecture makes it possible to decouple responsibilities and to keep processes alive through waits.

## State and consistency

The system needs to decide which state is central, which application holds authority, how it is synchronised, how conflicts are detected, what happens in the event of a partial write, how duplication is avoided and how work is resumed.

PostgreSQL can preserve operational state, contracts, events, knowledge, permissions, traces and embeddings through pgvector.

The proximity between relational data and retrieval can simplify architectures and make transactions easier.

## Existing logic

Integration also requires understanding the logic that already lives in code, procedures, configurations, tables, forms, documents, tests and traces.

DocuLogic helps to reconstruct it. The system separates observed behaviour, inferred logic, documentation and agreed decision.

That representation makes it possible to modernise and integrate while keeping visible which inconsistencies existed before the change.

## Progressive migration

Modernisation can advance through reading before writing, shadow mode, recommendations, limited tools, partial workflows, adapters, events, replacement by domain and gradual retirement.

Each phase has its own metrics and rollback.

The aim is to incorporate new capability while preserving continuity and learning.

## Software for people

Interfaces help to understand context, review evidence, resolve exceptions, authorise, correct, configure, observe and learn.

We design views by role. A person in charge needs consequences and authority. A specialist needs evidence and alternatives. Operations needs state and next steps. Engineering needs traces and contracts.

## Software for agents

Agents need different interfaces: typed tools, resources, schemas, permissions, structured responses, clear errors, limits and context.

MCP, FastMCP and APIs can expose capabilities. The application keeps the policy and validates the effects before accepting an action.

## Data and knowledge

The software connects transactional databases and knowledge representations: SQL, graphs, text search, embeddings, events, objects, versioned files, KIR and APIs.

The architecture chooses the appropriate form for each responsibility and preserves the identifiers that make it possible to relate them.

## Cloud, edge and deployment

Execution can be distributed between cloud, private infrastructure, edge, GPU, devices and local environments.

The decision considers data, latency, connectivity, cost, scaling, support, security and access to hardware.

Docker and deployment pipelines help to reproduce and update components.

## Observability

Each service produces signals that are useful for reconstructing input, version, state, decision, call, effect, error, latency and cost.

Traces are correlated at case or process level. This makes it possible to understand how an AI output reached an operation and what happened afterwards.

## Software quality

We work with types, schemas, tests, linters, static analysis, CI/CD, review, documentation, contracts, versioning, migrations, backups and recovery.

Software engineering turns the capability of models and agents into a system that can carry on.

When people and bots build that software together, SuperPythagoras sustains the organisational part: roles, delivery contracts, handovers and review, with SecondOpinion as an independent perspective on every change with consequences.

## What can change

- more comprehensible integrations;
- less duplication of logic;
- tools usable by people and agents;
- explicit permissions;
- resumable processes;
- more coherent state;
- progressive migration;
- greater observability;
- simpler maintenance;
- the ability to replace models and providers.

## Closing

Software integrates intelligence with the place where an organisation records, decides and operates. Its quality determines whether a promising capability can become reliable work.
